Teen Voices of the City Ensemble, or T-VOCE (tee-VO-chay), is a free choir open to area teens.  A collaboration between Art Sanctuary, Singing City, Play On, Philly! and Opera Philadelphia, T-VOCE is a chance for you to share your talents with each other and the community. T-VOCE comes from the Italian word "voce," meaning "voice," because this choir is all about empowering and celebrating the voice of Philadelphia youth and their overwhelming talents.

We encourage you to join this year’s ensemble to make friends and make great music. T-VOCE is open to everyone aged 13-19. You don’t need to have ANY musical experience; all you need is a love of singing! It’s FREE to participate! The first rehearsal is Saturday, October 14. Rehearsals take place at Friends Center, 1501 Cherry Street, Philadelphia, PA. And there are multiple performance opportunities throughout the year.

Additionally, if you’re interested in taking a musicianship class, Play On, Philly! can help with that, too. Just mention that on the registration form.

Again, you don’t need to have any musical training or background to join T-VOCE, just a love of singing!
