Teen Voices of the City Ensemble, or T-VOCE (tee-VO-chay), is a free choir open to area teens. A collaboration between Art Sanctuary, Play On, Philly!, Opera Philadelphia, and Singing City, T-VOCE is a chance for young people to share their talents with each other and the community.
T-VOCE comes from the Italian word "voce," meaning "voice," because this choir is all about empowering and celebrating the voices of Philadelphia youth.
We encourage you to join this year’s ensemble to make friends and great music. T-VOCE is open to everyone aged 13-19. You don’t need to have ANY musical experience; all you need is a love of singing! It’s FREE to participate! Rehearsals take place on Saturday mornings at Friends Center, 1501 Cherry Street, Philadelphia, PA. There are multiple performance opportunities throughout the year.
