EITC - Educational Improvement Tax Credit
Singing City participates in the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC) administered by Pennsylvania’s Department of Community and Economic Development. Under Act 4, companies can realize substantial tax credits by making a gift to educational improvement organizations like Singing City.

Donations through the EITC program to Singing City will help support
T-VOCE, therefore endorsing Singing City’s commitment to choral music education and performance opportunities for under-served students in Philadelphia. By making a contribution to Singing City, your company could save as much as 90% of the value of the gift!

Jeffrey Brillhart Commissioning Fund
for New Choral Music

In honor of Artistic & Music Director Jeffrey Brillhart’s retirement in June 2023 following a 25-year tenure with Singing City, we are pleased to announce the creation of the Jeffrey Brillhart Commissioning Fund for New Choral Music, designed to create new choral works especially for the choir.

Seed funding comes from Singing City, its board and choir members, and individuals wishing to honor Jeff’s legacy. In keeping with Singing City’s mission the commissioned composers supported through this fund will represent a broad range of gender, ethnic, and racial diversity.
